What is Entry Point?
Entry Point is a 2.5 hour class taught be our Senior Pastor Ron Hunt. The purpose of the class is to provide each participant with a broad range of information about New Life and give them an opportunity to ask questions and get to better know New Life’s leadership. It is for those who just want to know more about New Life or are interested in becoming members. Beginning with appetizers and brief time to visit with others attending the class, Entry Point then explores four basic areas of information about New Life.

Ø The process of how one comes into a relationship with Jesus
Ø New Life’s mission, values and basic beliefs
Ø The strategies New Life uses to achieve its mission
Ø The organizational and leadership structure of New Life

What is Membership?
New Life is a community of believers that is not only committed to Jesus; we’re committed to each other. We enjoy sharing life together—celebrating each other’s victories, and shouldering each other’s trials. We learn together in small groups, encourage and inspire each other through daily interaction, and form friendships that last a lifetime. We don’t see church as something we go to, but rather as something we are.

Becoming a Christian automatically makes us a member of God’s Church worldwide; becoming a member of New Life identifies our local church family. It is an official recognition that God has brought us to this community of believers for a reason, and that we are committing ourselves to its fellowship and ministry.

Do I have to become a member if I attend Entry Point?
Like everything else at New Life, Entry Point is a “no pressure” class. We want your decision to be motivated by God, not pressure from us. While many decide to become members at the conclusion of the class, others take the information and prayerfully consider making that decision at a later time.

What can I expect?
Entry Point is designed to connect you better with New Life - both the structure & origin of New Life, but also to its people. The time beginnings with appetizers & chatting, but moves quickly into an informal informational setting where questions are encouraged, then wraps up with a bit more time for appetizers, getting to know others & asking questions of Pastor Ron, etc...we realize it can be intimidating to step into an unknown setting & we do whatever possible to help you feel at ease.

How do I sign up?
There is a sign up sheet at our Information Center on Sunday mornings. Entry Point is offered every 4 to 6 weeks, so please sign up for the specific class you will be attending. You may also sign up by calling New Life’s offices at 765.0956.
